Joe worked to remove a stand of bamboo in our yard and trimmed a redbud for us. The bamboo was behind that tree. If you know anything about bamboo, you know how difficult that is. Joe worked for 2 days to do this job, using machinery and hacking at the bamboo remnants with an ax. It's gone and covered with topsoil. The tree looks great too. Joe is a hardworking guy and his fee is reasonable. I've already recommended him to a friend!

Very happy with this company! Punctual and reliable. I had a to change dates a few times due to my own schedule and they made time for me that fit my schedule. Great job, great clean up, great customer service and awesome employees. Thanks again I had 3 trees removed and a giant stump, they took care of it all for a reasonable price. 👍🏼

Joe and the S.H. Tree Service Team did a beautiful job removing 2 very large invasive Norway Maples, from our historic East Ave property. The Rochester Preservation Board granted us permission provided we grind the stump, regrade, and reseed. We got 3 quotes, Joe’s quote was very reasonable, in the middle, but included everything! We were not in a hurry, so set a flexible date, and communicated with Joe and our tenants as we got closer to Oct 4-5th. Joe & his team’s work over 2 days was very considerate guests, tenants and neighbors, very safe, professional, sensitive to preserve the adjoining yard, and clean up was better than expected from typical typical contractors. Joe even returned after we paid the bill to apply more grass seed where he had said he ran short! We were very impressed, would hire Joe & Team again, and highly recommend S.H. Tree Service to anyone who needs professional help with their trees! Thank you, Ed & Tom

S.H tree did an amazing job, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of tree work. They cut down 4-5 tall dead ashes that were leaning over my house and not a single dent was made. They cleaned up after and left me 110% satisfied. Great work

Joe and Moossha cut down a beloved white birch for us that was in decline. They were methodical, incredibly hard working and professional. They took care of the birds nest that was found as well as took the time to carefully trim the rest of our trees. They protected our lawn and cleaned up the yard better than it looked before they came. What a great experience!

Joe & his team were a pleasure to work with! Kindly answered all our questions during the process and adjusted graciously to us changing the original plan. They even happily saved us logs to grow mushrooms on, would recommend! 🙂 As someone who went to school for horticulture Joe did a great job removing leads/limbs of the tree and I have no concerns about it’s future health.

S.H. Tree service does an amazing job! I sent Joe a message in the very early morning, and I received an automated response back immediately followed up by a personal call . I have to say, He and his team took on a massive area of ASH trees that were dead as well as some large WILLOW trees that were old and needed to be stumped. They worked Very efficiently and were dedicated to the task. We were Very happy with the outcome, the fast response, the professionalism and the very reasonable price! We will use him again in the future, And we HIGHLY RECOMMEND his business.

The team did an amazing job taking down our 1/2 dead large tree. They worked in a tight space safely and cleaned everything up afterwards! Extremely responsive and got the work done fast after the initial inquiry. Def recommend!

We were very impressed with Joe Hofschneider’s S.H. Tree Service LLC and give Joe and his company our most enthusiastic recommendation. Joe is a professional who takes pride in his work with outstanding results. In our first meeting with Joe, he visited our home to review the proposed project and in less than 24 hours sent us a detailed description of the proposed tree removal and trimming and cost estimate. On the day of the project, Joe and Jeremy were careful, thorough and fast, with the results exactly as he had described. Bottom line is that you can trust Joe and know that his work will exceed your expectations.

Thank you to Joe and his crew for cutting down 6 large ash trees in my sons yard. I know they will be back for 4 more to go down but we had to split it up into two visits. They worked diligently and got them cut, chipped, and stumps were grinded as well. To top that all off, some top soil and seed went down after they were done. Very efficient, cleaned up and worked steadily all day. I highly recommend Joe and his crew to help with any out door services that he and his team will provide. You won't be disappointed!

Joe was quick in responding to my call for a quote and came out the next week. Did a wonderful job cutting down 2 trees and a dead branch hanging over to the neighbors yard. I wanted to do the clean up and keep the wood so he piled it up neatly and when he did the stumps he raked the chips up too so they weren’t all over. He took great care to avoid the wire for my invisible fence which was close to a stump. Would definitely recommend!!!
